PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is given that the Board of Supervisors of Willistown Township will hold a public hearing at 7:00 P.M., June 19, 2023, at the Willistown Township Municipal Building located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, PA 19355, to consider the adoption by resolution of an amended Township Comprehensive Plan and associated public comment. A full text copy of the amended Comprehensive Plan is available for public examination at the Township Municipal Building or the Township website without charge, or may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
The amended Township Comprehensive Plan was prepared by the Willistown Township Planning commission, with the assistance of Gaadt Perspectives, LLC, Pennoni Associates, Inc., and Yerkes Associates, Inc., and will be considered for adoption by resolution of the Board of Supervisors as an update to the Willistown Township Comprehensive Plan of 2013. The text of the amended Comprehensive Plan contains Maps 1 through 13, Tables 3-1 through 7-3, Appendices 1 through 8, and other textual matters regarding the following: introduction to the purpose and scope of the comprehensive plan, summary of goals and policies, community background, protecting community values, guiding future growth, providing community facilities and services, and implementing plans and goals.
An opportunity will be afforded to all interested persons in attendance to address the Board of Supervisors in the matter of this amended Comprehensive Plan and resolution.
