NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the offices of the Township located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Willistown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and to hold a hearing on the following:
Application Z-10-25: Application of Brian Johnson, which seeks variances from §139-36.C(1) (Front yard) and §139-36.C(3)(Rear yard) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a detached garage which will encroach approximately 21.5 feet into the 30 foot required front yard setback from First Avenue, and approximately 21.4 feet into the 25 foot required rear yard setback. The Applicant also seeks a variance from §139-90.D (Restoration) to permit the rebuilding of a nonconforming building where it is otherwise not permitted. Additionally, the Applicant seeks a variance from §73-54.A (Minimum planting standards) of the Willistown Township Code, pursuant to the provisions of §139-36.D(2)(Impervious coverage) which requires additional landscaping, buffering and screening for an increase in impervious coverage on the property from the existing 25% impervious coverage to 34.3% impervious coverage, for the property located at 15 Duffryn Avenue, Malvern, being UPI No. 54-1P-39, in the R-3 Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.
