NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Willistown Township will hold a public hearing at 7:00PM, September 9, 2024, at General Wayne Elementary School located at 20 Devon Road, Malvern, Pennsylvania 19355, to consider adoption of Township Ordinance 6 of 2024, which revises Chapter 73 Environmental Protection, Chapter 93 Nuisances, Chapter 109 Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Chapter 123, Subdivision and Land Development, , and Chapter 139 Zoning, of the Willistown Township Code, summarized as follows:
Section 1 amends Section 73-4, “Definitions” to amend the definition of the term “Woodland”; Section 2 amends Section 73-13A governing regulations concerning woodlands; Section 3 amends Section 73-18.B governing construction permits and fees; Section 4 amends Section 73-31.A governing the Steep Slope Preservation District; Section 5 amends Section 73-44.D concerning alterations of BMPs; Section 6 amends Section 73-62.A governing use regulations in the RBA Conservation District; Section 7 amends Section 93-5.A governing noise disturbances by construction activity. Section 8 amends Section 109-2.D governing permits and fees for disturbance of topography and vegetation; Section 9 amends Section 109-9 governing application fees; Section 10 amends Section 123-11 governing submission of a sketch plan; Section 11 amends Section 123-16.A governing the procedure for submission of a sketch plan; Section 12 amends Section 123-17.A governing the procedure for submission and review of a preliminary plan; Section 13 amends Section 123-18.A governing the procedure for submission and review of a final plan; Section 14 amends Section 123-22.G governing interior lot access strips; Section 15 amends Section 123-24.A governing cul-de-sac streets; Section 16 amends Section 123-25 to create a note referencing Map 12 of the Township’s Comprehensive Plan; Section 17 amends Section 123-33.C governing sight distances at proposed driveways; Section 18 amends Section 139-6, “Definitions” to modify the definitions of the terms “Cluster Development”, “Easement”, “Historic Resource(s)”, “Marginal Access Street”, and “Woodland”; Section 19 amends Section 139-13.A governing lot area and width in the RU Zoning District; Section 20 amends Section 139-18 governing area and height regulations in the RA District; Section 21 amends Section 139-23 governing area regulations in the RA-1 District; Section 22 amends Section 139-28 governing area regulations for the R-1 District; Section 23 amends Section 139-110 governing use and location requirements for signs; Section 24 amends Section 139-110.1 governing standards for signs; Section 25 amends Section 139-111.J governing calculation of sign area; Section 26 amends Section 139-113.G governing zoning permit applications; Section 27 amends Section 139-117.A governing fees and deposits; Section 28 amends Section 139-121 governing fees concerning Zoning Hearing Board proceedings; Section 29 amends Section 139-122.A governing Zoning Hearing Board hearings; Section 30 amends Section 139-155 governing scenic viewsheds and scenic roads in the Open Space Conservation District; Sections 31, 32, and 33 address severability, effective date, and repeal.
