PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Willistown Township will hold a public meeting at 7:00 P.M., March 11, 2024, at Sugartown Elementary School located at 611 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Pennsylvania 19355, to consider adoption of an Ordinance titled and summarized as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLES II AND X OF THE WILLISTOWN TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES REGULATING SEWER RENTS AND LOW-PRESSURE SEWER SYSTEMS
Section 1. Repeals §105-11 of the Code of the Township of Willistown, in its entirety.
Section 2. Amends §105-17(A) of the Code of the Township of Willistown, by providing the requirements concerning sewer rents for private dwelling units, responsibilities of property owners for the maintenance, repair and replacement of water meters, and the authority of the Township to inspect water meters.
Section 3. Repeals §105-113 of the Code of the Township of Willistown, in its entirety, and replaces the Section with provisions concerning the regulation of grinder pumps or low-pressure sewer laterals throughout the Township.
Section 4. Repeals §105-114 of the Code of the Township of Willistown, in its entirety, and replaces the Section with provisions imposing duties and responsibilities upon owners of properties served by grinder pumps and low-pressure sewer laterals.
Section 5. Provides that the Ordinance shall be effective five (5) days from the date of enactment.
