Greetings, Willistown Parks & Recreation Friends!

The school year is winding down, but our summer events are heating up! Remember all our events are FREE and open to the public.

We kick off summer with a PA Wildlife Summer Evening Walk on Monday, 6/16 at 6 pm in Okehocking Preserve, followed by our annual School's Out/Let's GO WilMa! Park Party on Tuesday, 6/17 at 5:30 pm in Greentree Park.

Speaking of GO WilMa!, our outdoor adventure program returns for its 15th year, with the theme Explore Our Colorful World . This program combines outdoor recreation, health and wellness, summer reading and stands for “Get Outside Willistown and Malvern.” Adventurers of any age can explore the natural and historic treasures in the greater Willistown and Malvern community. Register for this free program at our June 17 park party or sign-ups are ongoing throughout the summer at Malvern, Paoli, and Easttown libraries. 

There are a few spots still left for the  Willistown Township's 2025 Weekly Summer Camps.  If you're looking for an affordable and fun summer camp for children aged 5-12, check out our partnership with Jump Start Sports. The camp kicks off the week of June 16th at Sugartown Elementary School (611 Sugartown Road, Malvern) and runs for 8 weeks. Full-day and half-day options, along with before and after care, are available.

Finally, grab a chair or blanket and head out to our Greentree In Tune & on Tap park parties on Tuesday, June 24 with the Sun Brothers  and Jeff Dominck & the Fraction on Tuesday, July 15. Please leave four-legged friends and personal coolers at home. Support our local vendors who will be selling delicious food and beverages including Grace Winery, Locust Lane Brewery, Scoops N Smiles Ice Cream, Sabatinos Mobile Pizzeria and On The Roll Food Truck.

Join Us for A PA Wildlife Summer Evening Walk

School is out, let’s get outside with environmental educator Dawn White, of Indian Run Environmental Education Center, and her animal ambassadors to learn more about our local wildlife. The program will be followed by a nature walk through the woods and fields of Okehocking Preserve, to discover various species of plants and animals. For ages 6 and up.

Willistown 2025 Summer Camps

Jump Start Sports provides Willistown's Summer Fun Camps, and we include more than sports! Children ages 5-12 will enjoy games, arts and crafts, water play, sports, free play, and more. We focus on cooperation, teamwork, sportsmcanship, and summertime fun. Themes change weekly. Each day features a full-camp game in the morning, skill instruction in a sport, and recreational games and activities.
RATES:
*Resident: Half Day $180 week or $1300 all 8 weeks 
                  Full Day $225 week or $1600 all 8 weeks 

Non-Resident: Half Day $190 week or $1350 all 8 weeks 
                          Full Day $235 week or $1650 all 8 weeks      

Before Camp Care: 8-9 AM $200 for all 8 weeks or $40/week 
After Camp Care: 3-5:30 PM $350 for all 8 weeks or $60/week
