Public Works Department

Department Responsibilities

The Public Works Department in Willistown is staffed with nine full-time employees which are responsible for maintaining almost 53 miles of roads and approximately 334 acres of Township owned property and park lands. (Note: The Department conducts trash removal only in the park lands.) The Public Works Department also maintains six pump stations and numerous pieces of equipment.

State Roads

The state roads in Willistown are maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The following are state roads:

  • N. Cedar Hollow Road
  • Delchester Road
  • Devon Road
  • Goshen Road
  • King Road
  • Lancaster Avenue
  • Paoli Pike
  • Providence Road
  • South Valley Road
  • Street Road
  • Sugartown Road
  • Warren Avenue (paved sections)
  • West Chester Pike
  • Whitehorse Road

Sewer

The Public Works Department also monitors the public sewer pipes in the Township.
